Really a 3.5 stars - a five star system is too restrictive!
Well, I have a confession to make. I think I reviewed this book previously based on the blurb and was thinking of a completely different book!!
Anyway, whilst looking through the unread books on my Kindle I found this - was surprised because I thought I had read it - and opened it just to check before deleting it from my Kindle.
Enough rambling ...
A pleasant enough story, the male lead didn't do too much alpha male posturing and the female lead called him on his BS and was pretty resourceful for a human.
I'm intrigued by the rescued character and will probably continue reading.
Not up there with Kresley Cole or Larissa Ione or J.R. Ward but a perfectly pleasant addition to the second tier. At least none of the characters made me want to poke my eyes out because they were too predictable (and honestly that's quite rare with this genre).
